Mary Kate Munro

Mary Kate Munro is Growth Energy’s director of government affairs. In her role, Mary Kate works closely in conjunction with the senior management team to ensure the organization’s legislative strategy is incorporated into overall communications and operations. Also, she helps ensure coordination between D.C. and member companies on important legislative updates and Capitol Hill-based events and news. Prior to joining the team at Growth Energy, Mary Kate worked for Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa for five and a half years. Mary Kate is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., and resides in Washington, D.C.
